We’re finally recovered from a weekend of debauchery and have begun our weekly search for new music. Today we were lucky enough to stumble upon Rebel Kicks and their latest record, “Hamartia.”
This alt-pop hit will capture your attention with infectious lyricism layered over an epic beat. The song is energetic and topped off with an unforgettable chorus that will live in your head for days.
We must show some love to the beat on this song on all counts. The sound is giving The Strokes meats FUN. and sets a solid foundation for the song as a whole. Oh yeah, the solo breakdowns are epic as well!
This is our first impression of Rebel Kicks on Rage Robot, but after hearing “Hamartia” and for the simple fact that we love their name, you can bet it won’t be our last.
