Music is by far one of the only forms of communication that can transcend all languages. My Spanish is not polished by any means. Growing up in a Spanish speaking household I was able to pick up words here and there but I definitely don’t speak the language fluently. That does not stop me from enjoying Spanish music whenever I head a beat and vocals that capture my soul.
Cali Y El Dandee, Sebastián Yatra’s latest record “Locura” does just that. As soon as the track breaks down into the guts of the song you will be hooked. The beat is hard-hitting and makes you want to move. The vocals are fast passed, infectious, and will have you hanging off of every word they say whether you speak Spanish or not!
