Our obsession with the Robot wielding DJ Axel Johansson flourished in September of 2021. We heard one of his singles, “Always Home,” and fell instantly in love with the euphoric sounds he laid down throughout the fantastic record!
Today we were curious and checked out his YouTube page to see if anything new had dropped as we hadn’t had an Axel fix in a minute! To our surprise, the Danish producer released a new track entitled “Strange Utopia” featuring Marmy, and it is delicious!
“Strange Utopia” will capture your attention with a mysterious vibe on the beat. As the song builds, the listener is guided through the music by melodic vocals performed by Marmy. The chopped-up drop on this track is unexpected, well-received, and complimented to no end by ethereal lyricism throughout, making for an all-out hit when all is said and done!
We’ll be sure to keep our Robots posted on anything new from Axel in the future, but for now, we’ll be vibing to “Strange Utopia” for a whole minute!
