We don’t know too much about the South Carolina native up-and-coming emcee who goes by Dro Kenji, but I think it’s safe to say he is officially on our radar. We just checked out his latest single/music video entitled “Superstar,” and I gotta admit this song does not disappoint!
“Superstar” is a short-lived hit (time-wise) hit that will capture your attention right from the jump with a guitar-led bass-heavy beat. The record sets the stage for Dro’s melodic lyricism, making an unforgettable record when all is said and done.
There is a uniqueness to Dro’s sound that will undoubtingly resonate with anyone who gives this song a listen. “Superstar” is emotional, bold, and honestly a contender to be one of our favorite songs of the year so far.
