We were first introduced to Las Vegas-based hitmaker SammyWy when we heard his collaboration “Feelin’ Sad” with Rage Robot favorite Quinn Ayers. Since then, we have kept our ears to the ground and kept an eye out for anything new the up-and-coming artist might drop… Well, today, Sammy blessed his fans with a straight-up hit that will no doubt become your new favorite song once you give it a full listen-through.
“Pop 2” out now on On The Run Records features a subtle punk/pop-inspired beat that proves to be the perfect compliment to SammyWy and his infectious lyricism. This song feels well thought out, effortlessly cool, and is topped off by an unforgettable hook that will ring in your head for days.
If you weren’t a fan of SammyWy before, I have no doubt this song will 100% change your mind. If this is any hint as to what we can expect from Sammy in the future, I think it’s safe to say we are officially stoked to hear what he drops next!
