How The Strokes dropped a song, nay a full music video recently without my knowledge is legit beyond me. I gotta say I am happy i did catch wind of the song because it will no doubt become a favorite from of mine from the New York native rock band. “The Door” features a slow build on the track with is held down effortlessly by Julian Casablancas’ well received vocals from beginning to end. As is true with every Stroke’s song the track ultimately culminates in a music climax that will leave your head spinning when all is said and done.
The music video is a futuristic space, cartoon type of visual which proves to be quite memorizing to watch as the record plays out. Catch The Strokes’ next album The New Abnormal out 4/10/2020!
