We have come a long way since the days of Timeflies and Cal’s hard-hitting fast-paced flows! These days Rez and Cal have gone their separate ways to take advantage of life on their own, but that hasn’t stopped both artists from creating new music from time to time for the fans. I am not sure how I missed Cal‘s “The Identity Crisis: Side A” album, but I am here to tell you I have every intention of listening to it, though, and though once I am done with this post!
“AFU” is a single off the album and features an easy-going vibe on the beat that is heald down to no end by Cal’s emotionally charged vocals. The record is effortlessly cool and topped off with an infectious hook that will ring in your head for days after it has ended.
It looks like Cal has taken a little time off from music. He recently got married and has been doing his best to be creative, according to his Instagram. We’ll be on the lookout for more new music from the Timeflies alumni, but for now, we’ll be vibin’ to “AFU” for a whole minute!
