Our love for Carlie Hanson flourished in February 2020 when we heard her hit single “Side Effects.” The song was the soundtrack to our lives for well over a few months and continues to bring a smile to our writer’s faces every time it pops up in our playlists.
With such a love for her music on our end, it only makes sense that we have done our best to keep up with her career. She recently released the acoustic rendition of her latest hit, “Gucci Knife,” and we can’t get enough.
While the original single is impressive, there is a real soft spot in our hearts for acoustic music. Primarily when it showcases the raw talent as it does for Hanson’s vocals throughout this record.
