This is the first impression of Elderbrook we have had on Rage Robot but I have instantly become a fan. “Numb” features a down tempo sort of vibe which encompasses and ever building beat. The song is mysterious and captivating. The vocals are soft yet bold and will capture your attention and hold onto it right up to the end of the song making for a lasting impression.
The video really excited me. While simple in nature I really enjoyed a short journey the two dancer took me on as I listened and watched the video play out. The video is dark and urban as it plays out on a dark night in the city. A sense of softness is felt and invokes by the female dancers whom seem to glide through the city streets. This balance of soft and urban nature make for excellent visuals to watch as the infectious song plays out.
I’ll be on the look out for more form Elderbrook but for now I am completely captivated by this entire project, song, music video and all.
