I don’t know much about Vokab Kompany but I do know they just released a new LP entitled Small Viktories on Gravitas Records and they might just be my new obsessions. The California based duo has teamed up with JPOD to bring us a sexy new single from the project and I gotta say if this is any indication of the sweet vibes we can expect from the project then I’m gonna love it when I check the entire album out.
“Like That” features an effortlessly cool beat that is inspired by hip-hop but has a solid twist of electronic and experimental vibes. This infectious beat proves to be the perfect backdrop to some well-received verses from beginning to end making for an all-out hit when all is said and done. The song is interesting, unforgettable and will have you hitting repeat over and over again!
I’ll be sure to give Vokab Kompany‘s entire Small Viktories album a listen and report back to you guys with my findings. How ever, for now, I’ll be rocking out to their first single “Like That” for the rest of the week!
