We are a little embarrassed to admit that we were just introduced to the “Not You” by Alan Walker earlier this week. Alan Walker is a usual artist on our feed, so it was a pretty big surprise when this song came on, and when we looked down to see who it was by, we realized it was by the EDM heavy hitter himself.
With that said, “Not You” is an emotional rollercoaster that will capture your attention right from the jump with some of the most beautiful vocals performed by Emma Steinbakken. As the song progresses, we are introduced to a familiar yet straightforward vibe on the beat that will remind some of the music we hear during graduation. The track is beautiful, melodic, and will ring in your head for days after it ends, as the chorus is exceptional.
We never really gave Alain Walker’s World Of Walker album a full listen. I think it’s high time we take some time to do so! We’ll be sure to report back here with our favorites, but for now, we’ll be rocking out to “Not You” for a whole minute.
