One of my main uses for Spotify is for music discovery. It’s pretty astounding to me that they can curate a whole playlist of songs I might like and hit the nail on the head almost every single time with every single track. With that said I hit the play button on one of my daily mixes and was introduced to the musical stylings of Swiss-American songwriter KIIRA.
KIIRA just released her latest single “After Hours” and I gotta say it does not disappoint. There is a somber time to the record throughout but I gotta say it has a way of capturing your attention and holding on right until the very end of the song. KIIRA’s vocals are effortless and hypnotizing making for some well-recieved lyricism and an unforgettable hook. The song is a solid hit from beginning to end and will have you contemplating life while you vibe along!
This is the first impression of KIIRA we have had on Rage Robot, but I have no doubt it won’t be our last. We’ll be on the lookout for more music from the up and coming songstress but for now, we’ll be vibing out to “After Hours” for a whole minute!
